The TVHS library is hosting a fall common read: Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand.  This is an excellent, well-researched non-fiction book about Louis Zamperini, a WWII bombardier whose plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean.  Louis struggles onto a life raft and floats in the ocean for days, hoping to find land.  When he does finally find land, it is not a welcome place to be, and Louis ends up a POW.  Louis must find the strength to live and fight against death.
