It is Halloween week, so it seems like I should do a post on my favorite Halloween books, but Halloween is not my favorite holiday.  I have never been good at thinking of costumes, and it always snows – I hate snow!  I will say my favorite creepy book right now is The Shining by Stephen King.  So different from the movie, but so great!  I also freak out about horror movies; I can read the books fine, but watching a movie I just can’t do.  Case in point: I watched The Mothman Prophecies, in which the creepy spirit was represented by the color red.  Later that night, I had to get up in the middle of the night, and saw the light on my fire alarm: red.  I freaked out and jumped back in bed, waking up my husband!
