I have been looking for a “cause” that is library-related to support, and I found one! I am so excited I can hardly contain my joy. I love to help, and this cause is after my own heart.
Everyone loves warm jammies! Everyone loves to hear cute and fun books read to them at bedtime! And what little kid doesn’t deserve both?? The Pajama Program is a non-profit organization which collects new PJs and books for kids ages 0-18 years. I will be sponsoring a drive in the library starting Feb. 14 and running until March 10 to collect PJs and books to donate. Help give the gift of sweet dreams!
There will also be story time in the library on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 6-7 pm to benefit Pajama Program. Bring a little one to share a story, and wear your PJs! We will be accepting donations of new PJs and books for kids 0-18 years at the event. See you there!
