Happy Monday!  We only have 8 weeks left until summer!  Woo hoo!  I can’t wait to have some more time to read the stacks of books I want to get to.  Over Spring Break, I did manage to get one book read, and another one almost finished.

I read The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult.  It was okay.  I like some of her other books better.  This one had some predictable plot points and some that I didn’t believe, but the message was still good.  Picoult always chooses topics that make you think about your life and how you live it.  Read my whole review here.

I am almost finished with The Execution of Noa P. Singleton by Elizabeth L. Silver.  What a great book!  The main character, Noa, is on death row for murdering her father’s girlfriend.  The story takes us back to her trial, the night of the murder, and leaves you wondering if she actually committed the crime, or is taking the fall for someone else.  Noa makes comments throughout which make you think she is guilty at points, and then she says something else which makes you think she isn’t.  Her execution date is set, and now the mother of the girl she murdered wants to help her commute her sentence to life without parole.  I will post a full review when I am finished!

Hope you got some good reading done over break!  Start making your summer reading list!
